Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: 2016 Week 22

bacon

Not sure if everyone else will find this odd, but I did. Not being a big Bloody Mary drinker, I’m probably just not hip on the varieties! Celery…sure. Olives…OK. Hot pepper…didn’t love it. Bacon??? That’s where I draw the line.

Pretty sure this could have passed for a full meal. Bottoms up!

From Cee:

“This week’s topic is Architecture.  What types of building appeal to you: Modern Art, Historical,  Colonial,  Gothic, European, Asian,  Commercial,  Industrial?  Take your pick. Any building that you like, for any reason, is appropriate for this week’s challenge.”

I love this building. Soon, if not already, it’s going to be gutted. It was my yoga studio for ten years. I say it was mine, but I didn’t own it. It was, however, my second home. This photo is from one of my last nights there. The photo is a bit askew because it matched my mood.

The yoga studio is becoming a realtor’s office. Such a waist of beautiful architecture.

When do you feel most connected with others?

In yoga class.

What daily habit would you like to introduce to your life?

Yoga/Meditation. At this point, I only do it 2-3 times per week, if I’m lucky.

What one mini-little-adventure would you like to have in the coming week?

A trip to Starbucks. I really deserve it.

Make a list of things or events that changed your life: It could be as simple as a book or meeting a certain person?

1.) Reading the book and watching the video The Secret.

2.) Starting the practice of yoga in 2004.

3.) Having a child in 2012.

4.) Finally treating my anxiety and depression in 2001 after suffering with it for 14 years.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I am grateful for my husband who took over while I was sick. I am looking forward to Gappy arriving from Chicago tomorrow.

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Single Flowers or Bud

mother's day

These are three different roses from the gorgeous bouquet my husband got me for Mother’s Day. They were amazing and opened so beautifully. They didn’t last long, but we got a day or two of their sweet aroma. I think the color is pretty cool.  What would you call that? Peach? Salmon?
