When do you feel most connected with others?
In yoga class.
What daily habit would you like to introduce to your life?
Yoga/Meditation. At this point, I only do it 2-3 times per week, if I’m lucky.
What one mini-little-adventure would you like to have in the coming week?
A trip to Starbucks. I really deserve it.
Make a list of things or events that changed your life: It could be as simple as a book or meeting a certain person?
1.) Reading the book and watching the video
2.) Starting the practice of yoga in 2004.
3.) Having a child in 2012.
4.) Finally treating my anxiety and depression in 2001 after suffering with it for 14 years.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful for my husband who took over while I was sick. I am looking forward to Gappy arriving from Chicago tomorrow.

Mother’s Day Roses for CFFC

These are three different roses from the gorgeous bouquet my husband got me for Mother’s Day. They were amazing and opened so beautifully. They didn’t last long, but we got a day or two of their sweet aroma. I think the color is pretty cool. What would you call that? Peach? Salmon?
My husband is turning 50 on Wednesday and I have the flu.
This is the first time in my life of 47 years to have the flu. I’ve bragged for many years about never getting the flu shot and never having the flu. Karma, you are such a bitch.
And timing? Bitch.
Dear flu fairies…heal me enough to be able to sing Happy Birthday to my husband without coughing up a lung!
