Can you tell by these photos that my daughter was excited to receive her Pinkie Pie 3DLight FX? She certainly was. And she squealed with even more delight when her daddy hung it on her wall. It looks awesome and matches her bedroom decor perfectly! We turn it on when she is ready to go to sleep and it turns off automatically after she is well on her way to dreamland.
It is such a good idea, especially if you have a child who is afraid of falling asleep in complete darkness. It gives them that little bit of extra reassurance, and it makes it even better when it is a light that is based on something that they love. They don’t give off as much bright light as ceiling lights for the bedroom do, it has a subtle and calm sense to it instead. I’m so pleased that we decided to get this for my daughter, as good dreams will soon be on their way to her. Maybe later, we could refurbish her bedroom with some customized neon lights from e-stores like Neon Filter (www.neonfilter.com) or alike, to design her dream room!
But for now, thank you to 3DLightFX and US Family Guide for our complimentary light in exchange for this review.
More from 3DLightFX:
“As parents ourselves, we understand the importance of providing a safe, functional and inspiring environment for our little ones. It was with this exact sentiment that our 3D Deco Lights were created.
The 3D Deco Lights are comforting, cordless, decorative night light that are loved by our tiny customers and big ones alike. The first of our popular designs is a regulation sized soccer ball that gives the playful appearance that it has been kicked into the wall. With a simple switch of the light, a soothing glow provides the necessary light for midnight changes, feedings, reassuring check-ins and, of course, to keep the ‘boogie monster’ at bay.
Tested by our most discerning critics (our partners and children), the 3D Deco/Night Lights have been an amazing addition to our nurseries, rec rooms and kids’ rooms. We look forward to hearing from you and how 3D Deco/Night Lights have made a difference in your family.”
We can’t wait to try the 3DLIGHTFX 3D Deco Light in my daughter’s bedroom! Her 5th birthday is coming up and this will be the perfect gift. They have a full range of comic book, super hero, Disney Princess, sports and car lights that look as though they are popping right out of the wall! They are battery operated and cool to the touch so you can place them any where in the room! Your kids will loves having these in their rooms and they’re also the perfect editions to a den, family room, man’s cave or office! Find all of these amazing products here: http://bit.ly/TargetUSFamily. They are available at Target stores and Target.com. She told me to surprise her with the character, but I’m having a hard time deciding. Pinkie Pie would go so well with her colors! But isn’t Belle on the balcony adorable?
Shanti. Peace. Namaste.
After spending the whole day feeling tired, depressed, anxious, hopeless, and unmotivated, two things helped me go to sleep feeling happy, at ease, and ready for another day.
Friends and Yoga
When I see people who I haven’t seen in a while, it can go a lot of ways. Yesterday, I saw several former colleagues/friends and all it did was make me smile and laugh. Some of us are in the same place, most of us have moved on, but all of us were genuinely happy to see each other. We were treated to champagne and lovely hors d’oeuvres and chatted about family, jobs, and vacations.
Yoga felt so perfect last night. I led a practice full of heart openers. We shined our heart light to those who are suffering from the unspeakable tragedies of the past several days. Everyone seemed to move as one, exactly the way I had intended. I’d like to believe we did our small part in healing some of the wounds.
I ended with these words last night. Please let the whole world feel this.
Shanti. Shanti. Shanti.
Peace. Peace. Peace.
I honor you in the place in which the whole universe dwells.
I honor you in the place of love, light, peace, and truth.
When you are in that place in you,
And I am in that place in me,
We are one.
Saying goodbye to the view at the yoga studio I’ve been attending for almost 10 years. It closes on April 23rd. Every time I go, I take a few more pictures. This was an amazing sunset last Tuesday after teaching my Crown Chakra class. See how we ushered in the divine light?
Weekly Photo Challenge: Bubbles!
This is a cropped photo of the bubbles from my wedding reception. I love how the light reflects off the bubbles, creating pretty pastels. I also like the happy memories it brings. The hand belongs to one of my brothers. He’s on my mind today.
